Buy domain

Buying a domain is fairly easy. A domain costs around US$10. There is a variety of domain name resellers. Have a look around and you might find the one you like. Dont forget about hosting, I find it easier to have hosting and domain name registration by the same company. I prefer Godaddy, it has a fairly nice user inferface once you register. Of course its a little messy with the amount of products they try to upsell you on, but once you are logged in its all fairly easy and FAQ section has answers to all your questions. They also give you free emails when you purchase hosting with them.

Another cool thing they provide you with is free hosting. If your site is just a personal diary or just an image page you can use their free hosting. However it will have a few of their ads on top of you page.
